Which Japanese game consoles work in Thailand?

As of 2026-10-24, we checked 19 game consoles sold in Japan. In Thailand (220V, 50Hz, Type A/B outlets): 5 work as is, 2 need an accessory, 4 will not work, 8 still pending.

Voltage 220V · Frequency 50Hz · Outlets Type A/B — Outlet types in Thailand vary. Most are universal outlets that take both Type A flat pins and Type C round pins, so Japanese Type A plugs usually fit. Newer Type O (three round pins) outlets do not, so some outlets need a plug adapter.
