- Yamada Holdings announced on October 21, 2026 that Yamada Denki, Best Denki, IDC OTSUKA and TSUKUMO stores are introducing the "Ocean Tax Refund" system for the refund method from November; travelers apply for the refund via the web or WeChat / LINE, with no app to download. The announcement does not say where refunds go (card, bank, cash), the fees, or when each store starts.
